Friday, December 26 - bigger fish to fry... I went to the movies today... hehehe... we left home at 7:15 in the morning and got to greater union at about 7:40... I walked up to go in but the shopping centre was closed... and locked... lol... I met maureen first and we stood around talking... then kath came and we went around to try and get in through the car park but we couldn't... then sezza came... then ej then paul and we were still hanging around outside waiting to be let in... um... what can i say... it got realli crowded... everyone was going to the same movie... they opened the centre at about 8:45... and everyone ran (walked fastly) to get seats... I saw my drama teacher from last year... she was there with her kids... and i talked to her on the way up the escalator... she's realli nice... um... then I went in and sat on the end next to paula (i'm not sure if it was her but i realli should know that)... then kath and I went to get popcorn... and we shared a box... so she had to move and sit next to me... mwahahahaha... anyway... the seats were good... the popcorn was yummy... my fanta was extreemly nice!.. we only met one aragorn and one elf (that i saw)... and a couple of random ppl in capes and one guy wearing a t-shirt... hehehehe...Oh... wanna know what movie I saw? It's easy to guess... you probably already know by now... oh well... i'm gonna make u scroll down to find out if ur right... mwahahahaha... *BEWARE SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD* We saw Return of the King... I havta say that it was quite a good movie... WAY better than the Two Towers but I duno if i can compare it to the Fellowship... it was perfect in it's own right... and I do suppose it would be mean to compare them... they're like brothers... and it's mean to choose ur favourite brother... lol... Lets talk about the movie... : I thought the little Legolas bit was weird... it annoys me that the only real cool stuff Legolas does is CG and it never looks real enough... and + Legolas looks like a pansy most of the time... : I think the frodo/sam parts in the movie were much better than those in Towers... I just thought they were boring then... with the exception of the marshes which I loved... but in this movie they were well done and interesting... very interesting... and i think there was more of it... : I liked the Eowyn/Theoden bit near the end... at the end of the battle of Minas Tirith... the bit with the Nazgul... i forgot what was going to happen so I loved it when it did... i think the shrinking was done well... : I liked the cursed army... i think they had spunk : I duno bout the long ending... well not the ending... the finishing... the tying up of all the loose ends... Kath reckons it was a bit long but i actually think it was good... a bit long tru... but i think all the Tolkien fans realli needed it... : I didn't like the Arwen dying thingey... like the fact that she's dying... blah blah blah... it annoys me... probably just because I don't like her... : I don't like galadriel : I like all the armies of men and stuff... I think they're cool... (:-p to what ur thinking) I think they rock... : I liked ALL the hobbits in this movie... i've never realli liked sam much... or frodo for that matter... but I think they were both extreemly nice in this movie... Merry and Pippin rock! *BEWARE MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD* My Note; : After frodo is sliced in Sherlob's (right? left?) cave... Sam lifts his face up and looks at him... There are three separate shots of frodo in between shots of sam... Frodo is apparently stunned, his eyes are open and he isn't moving... In the first shot of him... he is looking about the height of the top of a netball goalpost from 4 meters away... In the second shot he is looking lower... about halfway up the same goalpost... and in the third shot he is looking higher again... : I noticed one of the kids... This kid was a hobbit in the first movie and at the end of the last... but in the middle of the last i think i noticed him in Minas Tirith... as a kid (duh!)... but as a different kid... it might not be right but i just thought i'd remember that... *END OF SPOILERS* I wanted to mention something that I myself have just noticed... After I watched the first movie for the first time I wanted to see it again... to check things and try and remember words said and stuff like that... but for the second movie I had no interest whatsoever... now, for this movie... I wanna go back and check some stuff too... hehehehe Kath has a realli big gap between her big toe and her next toe... just thought i'd share that with the world... sorry kath... it's not a bad thing! It's a cool thing! So far 6 people are coming to the par-tay... and only one other person has RSVP'd... everyone else is realli mean because i said RSVP by christmas and I was even home every day up until christmas... damn you all... If u come and didn't RSVP i'm gonna turn u away... pleh! I'm tired... apparently we're going out tomorrow all day so i'm gonna havta pre-record Gilmore girls for Jenna... hope it works coz she's gonna kill me if it doesn't... not to mention me killing myself... if u r listening and u r nice plz record Gilmore girls and let me borrow it later... anyone? It's a double episode... Lorelai/Luke is the second one... Rory/Paris is the first... hehehehe... neways... I think i might go watch X-men 2 on dvd... which we got for chrissie from our cousins... yay! I'm sharing it with mitchie and we also got a paint tin of Jelly beans... so we can pig out and watch it... too bad he's not home yet... he's hanging at Evan's... trying to get ROTK game to install on his computer... coz it doesn't fit on mine... if it doesn't work i'm officially screwed... coz then we can't play it... grrrrrrrrrr... Maureen got a Playstation 2 for chrissie... and she got a dancing game and GTA3... which is a totally bad-ass game that totally rocks... mitchie has it on his computer... goodbye pedestrians... sometimes I do wonder if i'm realli a girl after all... although I did like barbies... but I liked Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too... lol... and Lego... Lego rocks... although... I like duplo better... coz it's bigger and funner... and I used to make houses and stuff... and it was realli fun... neway... bigger fish to fry... crumble | 4:58 pm
