Tuesday, August 16 - Don't Mug Yourself - The Streets Semi-Charmed Life - Third Eye BlindWhen I come around - Green Day Stressing about IPT assessment. Should be stressing about Drama script, got it back today from teach, gotta do some adjustments and hand it in again. Stressing about Drama group project. When it's finished I am toasting a real beer and drinking the entire thing (though I may wait till schoolies). Should be stressing about English assessment but no preparation needed apparently. I think I may learn what a simile is (hehehe, i'm kidding I know what a simile is). Lots of talk about schoolies today, got everyone's money. Whoopsiedaisy we have too many people. Have to talk to Lynda about it. Not good Not good Not good. Steph, Lynda, Ash and I are going to be a food group (vegetables lol). Nah, we're gonna cook two dinners. Choice between money pot for groceries or buy-your-own system. I'm torn. Will discuss. My Maths teacher gave back my maths exam today. I was suprised that he did not have a look of disappointment on his face. Rather, it was a laugh. He laughed at my mark. Of course I laughed too. I knew i was going to do badly and I expected everything I got. Doesn't make me feel much better though. Oh yes, the girl that got a High Distinction in the Maths comp in year 4 is now a math failer. It's fun it's fun it's fun. My year 4 teacher said (at the half-year parent-teacher conference thingy) that I am better at English than Maths. Although at that time I was doing better in Maths. I proved him wrong that year but he's now right. Can't wait till school's over. I loved school. I used to love school. I loved my old school. I have much less loyalty to my current school. It's because I didn't grow up there. Charlie No.1 - The Whitlams Dad's bugging me about my IPT assignment. He wants to know what the question is so he can try and help me. Argh, it's my stupid assignment. It's my responsibility and he can't possibly help me in any way. And he's not supposed to help anyway. Okay so he read through my last business studies assessment after I had finished because he used to lecture on Financial stuff in Business. Oh and he worked as an IT manager for several years. Oh and he worked in the wine industry. And he's a trained accountant. Offered a job at a travel agency. Got scholarships to all the university he did. 4 degrees in all. My father was the first person in our family (both sides) to go to university. He paid his way through with scholarships and got four degrees. And then lectured somewhat. Territorial Pissings - Nirvana Hands Clean - Alanis Morissette New favourite TV show is Grey's Anatomy. Like it very much. Dr Who is over. Lost has two more weeks to go. Charmed is back but I doubt if i'll watch it. My cousin's wife makes the bestest spring rolls ever. I remember we had a family thing and mitchie was busy (coz he's always busy doing stuff) so I sat outside with Jenna (this is when he was dating Jenna) because it was the first time she had met the family and we ate like the entire bowl of spring rolls. They were so yummy. Haven't heard from her in a long long time. She's on my msn list but I don't speak to her much. Kinda weird. We both loved Gilmore Girls. I want Gilmore Girls to come back on. Recorded prime last night instead of channel 7 so I missed ally mcbeal. Watched the finale of My big fat obnoxious boss tho. The boss turned out to be a monkey. YES, a monkey. And all the firings had been luck. The monkey spun this big wheel thing. Argh. Annette won $350,000 and they gave Mike $200,000 anyway. It was funny. Down Under - Men at work They should do an exam on tv. I'd pass with flying colours. Can't wait till Megan's picnic. And Ash's party. I'm so excited. Have to find out what starsign Ash is. Got megan's present. Shhh, it's a secret. I really really really want to see all my old friends again. Coz I saw them heaps in the holidays and before the trials, so I miss them. Have to bring some money for Rachel for formal ticket. Wish Das was going with Helani. They'd be soooo cute! Back Door Man - Pauline Pantsdown Very disappointed that the Logan Twins won big brother. Wanted Timmy to win. Love Timmy. He's excellent. But it was predictable. OMG!! I absolutely love the coffee place up the road!! The lady is so nice, Dad would have to be her best customer. We bought the actual hot chocolate stuff from her a while ago. And I didn't know how to make it properly so she gave me a lesson. Let me go behind the counter and watch and everything. And gave it to me for free too. Which was very nice!!! And my friend Renee from primary school works there too, on saturdays. She's never very busy which is not good. So I suggest everyone go there and get hot chocolates and coffee!!!!!! It's EXCELLENT!!! So uh... should I go to UK/IRELAND for a year next year? Before University? Work in a boarding school or something. It's possible. I don't know. I'd miss it over here and I'd have terrible trouble getting up in the cold cold mornings. The accents would make me happy though.
