Wednesday, January 11 - Supernatural post next. I think my brother may have a girl over at the moment. But I can't tell for sure. Let me explain to you the clues that have led me to this assumption.Clue#1: Mitchell has been spending a lot of time with this girl Brooke, she's a friend of a friend and they went ice skating about a week ago and he didn't come home that night at all (mother and dad were so worried they even gave me the 'you must always call and tell us where you are' lecture). Apparently the two of them stayed up talking all night. He got home at about 9am and slept through the day. She also came over on saturday and sat in her car talking to him for like an hour. She also came over a couple of days ago and they sat in the lounge room with the door closed and watched scrubs, she stayed the night in the spare room (he said) but when I went to bed at 2:30am mitchells door was still open (which means he wasn't in his room sleeping because he always shuts the door when he goes to bed). Clue#2: I was meant to be going to the movies today with Megs but Mum and Dad had to go into the city so it became too hard for me to get anywhere. I told him that I wasn't going out anymore yesterday and he said "Why, what happened?". Now this is a very unusual response for my brother, usually he would not care in the slightest. Which leads me to the assumption that he was planning something, probably someone to come over since the house would have been empty. Clue #3: This morning my brother stole the DVD player from my room (I keep moving Dads new DVD player from the lounge room to my room so that I can watch Farscape in bed coz it gets so hot in the lounge room). I was asleep but he was very loud and woke me up and didn't care. Clue #4: The lounge room door is closed. Usually doors stay open in our house, the only reason to close the room would be air conditioning related but he could have just turned on the 'kitchen' air conditioning to make sure that whole end of the house was cool. Clue #5: He came into my room a second time this morning to get the remote for the DVD player. Now this was not within breathing time of him actually getting the player, it was probably an hour after (but don't trust me coz I was% OKay wow. So i'd typed this big and pretty blog post and then my computer went "vrum" and shut down. So the above stuff is what I got back when I clicked the "Recover post" button. There was more. And it was interesting. But i have no idea what I had written and theres no way I could make it interesting for a second time. So now i'm grumpy. And this keyboard is making a lot of noise. I broke my longest nail because I was having trouble typing. Now the same finger on the other hand's nail is growing a bit too long. Oh woe is me. I think my brother's being a little bit selfish. He lives at university right, but his university is only 40minutes drive away. And he can drive. It's not like he 'needs' to live there or anything, we had problems his first year because he didn't have his Ps yet so thats why he started living in in the first place. Now we need somebody to feed the cat. My uncle lives across the street and is happy to feed the cat whenever we ask but we can't ask him to do it all the time, it's just not fair. My parents want my brother to come home for three nights each week to feed the cat in the mornings and night time. He doesn't want to come home at all. My brothers solution is to put the cat in a cattery. I'm not fond of that idea and dad probably hates it. Tom likes his space. The other option is to get a house sitter to live in our house and feed the cat. Mum finds the idea a little creepy and I do too. My problem with that would be that I have a two week break mid semester (if i get into uni, touch wood) and I would want to come home and there would be strangers living in our house for that time. Annoying yes. Creepy moreso. I've offered to come home on the bus every weekend if my parents need me to look after the cat but weekends are the best I can do since its 4hrs by bus, 40minutes by train, and probably another hour by bus again. Mum doesn't want me to come home and she says its gonna be terrible for me but if they need me at home i'm happy to make the trip. It's not for long anyway. I spoke to my brother about it today and he said that if he does come home then feeding the cat means he can't go out at night or in the morning (he means going to the city all night and getting back the next day). Duh. If he was at uni he wouldn't be able to do that anyway. I just think he's being selfish. I've been trying to organise my computer. Moving stuff from dads to mine and vice versa. It's very annoyingly hard. Oh a positive note I burnt my second and third CDs today. I forgot how and it was annoying to remember again. I asked my brother to show me and he's like "it's easy" and then he tried to do it on dads computer and he's like "huh, thats odd". Lol. He couldn't get it to work either. =p to him. Anyway I got it to work, the amount of junk I had to move took up two CDs and about 12 floppy disks. I started with the floppy disks coz I like them better. Yeah i know, i'm so old fashioned. This computer doesn't have a mouse which I still find a little difficult to handle. When trying to organise and order my documents a mouse is handy. Msn's being a poo. It keeps signing me in and out and in and out. Argh. I was researching the movie "Yours, mine and ours" today on the net. Alicia and I saw the end of a preview for it when we saw Just like Heaven. It's got the girl from Sky High. I saw her in a disney channel movie when i was in the states, it also had another disney actress who was from "The Suite life of Zack and Cody", another program I got hooked on over there. Ive fallen in love with Gilmore Girls again. Though I hate dean. I want marty to come back more often. And I miss Dave, he was perfect. But see he had to leave to go on the OC as Seth. I don't know which show I liked him better in. Dave is a wonderful character but I like Seth too. Ooh I can't choose. |
