Thursday, January 5 - Yo. My father was the first person on either side of our family to go to university. And he got four degrees. Nerd. He happily tells the story of one year when he had been studying consistently throughout the semester and it came to the day before the exam and he knew absolutely everything, so he had nothing to study and he watched the midday movie instead. He also tells the story of his first semester at university when he got four high distinctions. He also paid his own way through university moving lawns on saturdays and through scholarships.We have no cold soft drink in the bar fridge, yet we have half a dozen cold cruisers in there, a dozen crowns, and a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling apple fruit drink. I am going to take up drinking. I had a lazy day today. Right. You know, when you stay in your pajamas like all day and do absolutely nothing. Well I planned one of them and 10minutes after my parents and nan left for the bank this van arrives at the gate. I'm like "oh god, oh god, i'm in my pajamas. I don't want them to kill me in my pajamas". Anyway I was forced to answer the door since my brother was still not home from going ice skating last night. The man was delivering a package for my father. I had to sign for it. In pajamas, with hair unbrushed. Just before he left he said "Enjoying the school holidays are we". Hehehe. I laughed. And then ran away. My brother bought Farscape on DVD. Argh. It was $45. Which is very very cheap seeing as though it is normally sold for $115. He bought season 1 and mother bought him season 2 for his birthday in march. I also bought him Muppet Treasure Island for his birthday in march. I am a firm believer in watching crappy movies a second time in the hope that they will improve with experience. Said theory does not work with Legally Blonde 2. It is just as awful the second time around, if not more so. Evil Evil movie. Buffy's back on tv. After the double episodes of LOST on Monday nights. There are two episodes of buffy.
