Sunday, August 1 - Claytons My Pop likes Claytons&DryMy family is over at the moment... they're outside and in the kitchen cooking or talking or just relaxing... i'm inside on the computer doing my 'work'. Don't get me wrong, i love my family and all that, but i'm also maybe a bit scared of them... they're all loud, and i'm kinda quiet, i'm the youngest... I've never really had that thing where you go and play with your cousins in the park or anything... I'm the youngest and my brother is second youngest and I really have nothing in common with them. So i prefer to stay in here by myself. Why do your parents always push you to be friends with and hang out with other kids that you really have nothing in common with (and they know it) just because they are friends with their parents? Why don't parents realise that it is okay for them to have friends who have kids who aren't friends with you? Is it wrong that I don't really like my family? I love my close family but I mean my extended family... my aunty, her boyfriend, my cousins, their girlfriends. But I do like my grandparents and my cousin's husband. Do you think its basically like, you start with your family... so when your born they're there for you and you grow up with them, but then you move on to make your own friends by choice, and then your friends become your new family? |
